Donation from an event

Is it your birthday, are you getting married or will you celebrate some other event? Share your happiness and ask your guests to make a donation for Brava. This way, you are helping twice. You will raise money for women and girls and at the same time share information on our work with other people.

Direct money transfers by your guests

It is best to already point out in the invitation that you are foregoing gifts in favour of Brava. Please state our account details and a keyword, e.g. “Birthday Hannah X” Your guests should use this keyword when making the donation. In order for us to match the donations to your event, please let us know in advance the date of your event and the keyword. We can also send you payment slips that you can give to your guests.

After the event we will provide you with a list of names and addresses of the people who made a donation. This allows you to thank them all again for their generous support.

If your guests wish to receive a donation receipt, they should write their full address on the payment slip.

Collecting donations with a donation box

You can also collect donations from your guests at the party and later transfer the money to Brava. In this case it is also advisable to already refer to your “Donating instead of Giving” campaign in the invitation.

Please mark your transfer with a keyword, e.g. “Wedding Erika and Hannah X” We would happily provide you with a donation box that you can use for your event.

After your celebration you receive a donation receipt for the entire amount. Very important: If your guests wish to receive an individual donation receipt, please send us a list of names, addresses and the amounts each of them donated. To simplify this process for you, you can display such a list at the party, for example.

Donations campaign
